The North Idaho Republicans private group (NIR) was established in April, 2022. Jack Riggs' son, Peter Riggs, was an incumbent in Idaho's State Legislature and was about to lose his Primary Election race that year. The North Idaho Republicans group held a press conference (link) complaining about Conservative Republicans that started waking up because of the COVID mandates imposed on the surrounding community.

The North Idaho Republicans group are a collection of establishment moderates, Democrats, and well-funded Globalists. Their lead organizer supported Joe Biden in 2020 and opposed President Donald Trump.

In Idaho, there are an overwhelming number of Republicans that significantly out-number the Democrats. So in order to win an election, Democrats are often seen switching political parties to infiltrate our Official Republican Party.

The Official Republican Party, the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC), developed a vetting process that exposes Democrats and left-leaning Republicans in the May Primary, rendering them powerless during the party-switching process. The North Idaho Republicans opposes the KCRCC’s vetting process. This vetting process became so successful that other counties in Idaho want to adopt it to filter out their own Democrat problem. Sometimes friendly Republicans fall short of the recommendation and are encouraged to volunteer in other efforts or to run in other upcoming races.

The North Idaho Republicans members were behind the 2022 counterfeit sample ballot designed to trick voters into voting for their candidates. They used similar colors and design elements. NIR thought they had a chance to trick voters because voters only see the sample ballot once or twice a year.

When NIR ran their candidates for the Precinct Committeeman race in 2024, they were able to take control of a sizable minority of the Official Republican Party. KCRCC’s bylaws prevented the body from supporting Precinct Committeemen, which forced the KCRCC to be a grassroots organization, but NIR didn't have bylaws and funneled as much money into their candidates’ races as they needed. NIR’s candidates were thrilled to receive all of the supplies they needed to defeat the real Republicans.

The NIR group held an event where their candidates were given a campaign in a box, all the materials needed to run a precinct-level campaign. A grassroots precinct committeeman campaign is typically self-funded by the candidate because it is a volunteer position. When candidates are seen walking out of an event fully loaded with all of their materials ready to go, it is very suspicious. It was an attempt at a complete takeover of the Official Republican Party.

They gathered many members from different backgrounds. We discovered that several of them were advocates for the LGBTQ agenda. Some of them had trouble maintaining decorum in the monthly KCRCC meetings that followed.

The North Idaho Republicans group thrives in deception and half-truths. Their lead organizer, who supported Joe Biden in 2020, is now running as a Republican to take control over Legislative District 4. Legislative District 4 is currently held by 3 outstanding liberty-minded legislators, Rep. Joe Alfieri, Rep. Elaine Price, and Sen. Ben Toews.

There are 74 Precincts in Kootenai County and each Precinct Committeeman represents one of them. The KCRCC’s body is composed of 74 Precinct Committeemen. If the North Idaho Republicans are able to win 38+ seats, they will control the Official Republican Party. They will control the sample ballot and they will eventually replace our liberty-minded legislators. If The North Idaho Republicans group takes the majority control of the KCRCC, we will see a steady decline of conservative values and Kootenai County will turn Democrat at a rate just fast enough to not wake up any more Conservative Republicans this time.

Make sure when you vote for your Precinct Committeeman that you vet the candidate and see that they are NOT associated with The North Idaho Republicans private group.
